Mad runnings & some views

I wasn't sure if foster Carlos would be able to manage a proper run at his age, after eleven years onlead, and a touch of arthritis.  But he gave it a good go.

Gorgeous evening, and of course I had not bothered to bring my proper camera, as it had been so grey most of the day.  But I took a few phonepics.

Oh, that is wonderful to see! Carlos discovering the joys of mad running...

Lovely pictures - especially the one of hound gazing wistfully through gate.

He looks as if he's enjoying himself very much. Is that your field?

Sadly not (well, I say sadly. In one way it would be nice to have my own field where they could run, but I think keeping land mown and maintained just for dogs to run would be a PITA.)

It's on a not much used public footpath. I wouldn't let them hurl about like that if the field were growing wheat or something, but it's only clover, and not very tall clover yet. I don't think they can do much damage to that.
