Seen this morning : three magnificent grey cobs, each one about as wide as tall, with huge curvy hindquarters and wide flaring nostrils and proud curving necks, the feathers on their fetlocks and their long manes rippling majestically.  On top of the three horses, three equally magnificently curvy ladies, with huge rounded backsides precariously crammed into tight jodhpurs, cheery apple cheeks and ample bosoms bouncing to the rhythm of the hooves.   It was a spectacular symphony in generous curves.

This afternoon:  cleared and partially repainted the utility room, then follow-up homecheck for an Oldies Club dog that I homechecked for 8 months ago.  She is in lovely condition and clearly adored: I was there for two hours, their ability to talk about their dog is amazing!  Mind you, she is a great dog, you'd never guess she was 11.

Here via the LJ homepage to say OH! What a beautiful dog. She looks so much like my old one, I could stare at these pictures for hours.

Isn't she lovely? Brilliant temperament too.

Unusually for a rescue dog there was quite a lot of background about her, so we know that she was born in Germany and is a German Shepherd cross Appenzeller Sennenhund, which is a breed I'd never heard of before!

Oh, I liked that about the curvy ladies on their curvy mounts.

Glad the lovely dog is thriving.

I must admit, if I were going to have a horse (which I'm not because a world of not enough time, money and energy) I'd love a dapple-grey cob. They are such beautifully rounded horses! (I fear I'd be another curvy lady on top of one too :-D)

Oh, I'd love a painting of those ample ladies on their wide curvy grey cobs, trotting up the green lanes! How magnificent!

And what a lovely, happy dog.

They were fabulous. I'm going to try drawing them, it remains to be seen if they end up on paper anything like they were in reality...
