Sighthounds drawn on the train

Why other dogs are somewhat dubious when approached by a mischievous Rosie Roo and an overexcited Brythen.
more dog greetings

And sometimes Rosie is quite dubious too.  Brythen is ALWAYS pleased to meet new friends.
Dog greetings

This is a Mollydog cartoon really.  Neither of my current hounds Roo anything like as much.
Rooooooooo!

And a stylised pair of sighthounds in love.

They would form a floppy-eared tag team of ridiculousness!
I hover between being a bit sad that Rosie isn't keen to play with Brythen very often, and devoutly grateful that the house isn't constantly full of madly dashing sighthounds.

You really capture the doggyness of them-- the body posture, and the whiskers and all. My Hazel has stripes too. Her ancerstry is complicated, but she does make the roo sound sometimes.

Apparently a lot of people do not care for brindle, and the brindle dogs are sometimes harder to rehome? It's a mystery to me!

I met someone the other day who kept trying to smooth away Brythens stripes between his eyes: she said he looked worried :-D
