It's Sutcliff Swap time again!  Can I tempt anyone to join in?

Here is my Sutcliff Swap Dear Creator thingy!
I requested:
1) The Silver Branch - Aunt Honoria
I have a soft spot for awesome old ladies, and Aunt Honoria is perhaps the most awesome old lady in Sutcliff. I'd love to know more about her - how she ended up living alone in Calleva, why she has slaves when the family farm doesn't, anything about her day to day life - shopping, religion, gossip with the neighbours. Or maybe another story about a time when she turned out to be unexpectedly resourceful, or a retelling of her bits of TSB from her point of view? Or maybe she just solves crimes in Calleva!

2 Lantern Bearers - Aquila and Ambrosius
I love Aquila's fierce loyalty to Ambrosius. Anything about them would be great!

3 Dawn Wind - Owain, Regina
I'd love to see either a scene from Owain's time staying with Priscus and Priscilla, or perhaps after the events of Dawn Wind are over, when Owain and Regina go west into the Welsh hills - did they find Priscus and Priscilla again?

4 Sword at Sunset - Bedwyr
Bedwyr's relationship with Artos is told entirely from Artos's point of view in Sword at Sunset. What did he think of Artos, the young Comes Britanniarum when he first met him? Did he always get along with Cei, whose character seems so opposite to his? Or, did he ever regret his liaison with Guenhumara?

Basically, I like All the Sutcliff Things. So probably I'm going to be delighted with whatever you make!  But possibly more detail would help?

I like : hard decisions, sighthounds, desperate risk-it-all rescues, sunsets, orchards,  last hopes, quiet character studies and magic.  Not necessarily all in one place though :-D

I like characters who have beliefs, such as a faith in Mithras or Christ or Freya or household gods, who behave as though those beliefs are real and affect their everyday lives.   I am greatly interested in plants, and the qualities that they are believed to have, and really have.   In art, I like flowing shapes, odd little details, and interesting lighting.

I like unreliable narrators and I love stories told as if to an audience.  I am interested in people who make things, and how they feel about the making.     I prefer characters who are likeable and moderately honorable in their behaviour, and I have a great dislike of anti-heroes.

Although I'm happy to read fic where characters are in relationships of any flavour, I'm not much interested in what the characters are doing in bed, and am more interested in stories where the plot goes beyond romance.

Because I am old and far away, I have absolutely no idea what you are on about...but Rosemary Sutcliff was a fovourite author, and Dawn Wind probably my favourite book, perhaps I should re-read it!
Whatever, Guinny is my Dog.

Sutcliff Swap is a fan fiction/art/whatever exchange - here it is: http://sutcliff-swap.livejournal.com/ The idea is that everyone nominates three books and characters that they'd like someone to write / draw/ whatever for them, and also those that they'd like to write/draw themselves, and then the mods match everyone up, and at the end everything is revealed in a big surprise. I think it's a lot of fun!

I used not to like Dawn Wind so much when I was a kid - I preferred Frontier Wolf, a bit more exciting! But now I'm older, Dawn Wind seems one of the very best Sutcliffs to me. I think that The Lantern Bearers may be my favorite, but Dawn Wind is definitely up there.
